Nobel Peace Prize 2017 awarded to Int'l Campaign to Abolish Nuclear Weapons
The Norwegian Nobel Committee awarded the 2017 Nobel Peace Prize on Friday to a little-known international campaign group ICAN.
The aim of this international campaign is to Abolish Nuclear Weapons.
It began in Australia and was officially launched in Vienna in 2007.
Meanwhile, after award Nobel Peace Prize in a statement, nuclear disarmament group ICAN says that is now the time to ban nuclear weapons. Statement also said, this is a time of great global tension, when fiery rhetoric could all too easily lead us, inexorably, to unspeakable horror.
