Minister for National Health Services Saira Afzal Tarar says behavioral change is required about awareness of rights of the fellow citizens.

She was addressing a campaign-launch about 'road rights of ambulance' organized by International Committee of Red Cross and partners in Islamabad on Friday.       

The Minister said ambulances are not mere vehicles but symptomatic of struggling life for which every minute is important.

The theme of the campaign was 'Pehly-Zindagi' (Life First) with slogan of 'give way to ambulance as first right is of life'.

Speaking on the occasion, Head of ICRC delegation in Pakistan Reto Stocker said the campaign seeks to sensitize people to the issues face by ambulance which is life-saving mode of transport.
