Jammu Martyrs Day observed
The 68th Jammu Martyrs Day was observed in Occupied Kashmir, Azad Jammu and Kashmir and rest of the world on Friday to commemorate the massacre of Muslim inmates of Jammu this day in 1947.
The day is observed every year, as on this day in 1947, more than two hundred thousand Muslims were martyred in Jammu by Hindus and Indian forces. These Muslims were migrating to Pakistan.
Meanwhile, Indian authorities imposed curfew in many areas of Srinagar today to prevent the march up to Jamia Masjid.
