Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Sheikh Aftab Ahmed said work on different coal-based power projects is going on rapidly. New projects will be completed in Tharparkar, Port Qasim and Jamshoro.

Winding up debate on an adjournment motion regarding inordinate delay in execution of K-4 project, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal said the federal government has allocated two hundred million rupees in current financial year's PSDP. Of this eighty million have already been released.
