Mehtab announces Rs 5b uplift package for Mohmand Agency
The development package include construction of five small dams, six irrigation projects.
The Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan has announced five billion rupees uplift package for Mohmand Agency.
He made this announcement during his visit to Mohmand Agency on Wednesday.
The development package included construction of five small dams and six irrigation projects in the agency.
The Governor also went to Yadgar-e-Shuhada at agency headquarters Ghalanai where and laid floral wreath to pay tributes to the martyred Pak Army jawans in the war against terrorism.
Speaking on this occasion, he lauded the sacrifices rendered by tribal people along with the security forces in war against terrorism.
During the visit, the Governor also chaired a meeting of the local political administration to review pace of work on the ongoing developmental projects across the agency.
He also unveiled the plaque of the under-construction FM-98 Radio at Ghalanai which would be completed with an estimated cost of about 11 million rupees.
Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan also inspected work on the Nahqi Tunnel being completed with an estimated cost of 750 million rupees.
The tunnel would will connect Ghalanai with Bajaur Agency.
