High-level Pakistani delegation arrives in Beijing today
The two sides will discuss bilateral cooperation in energy and textile industry.
A high level Pakistani delegation will arrive in Beijing on Sunday to hold talks with the Chinese authorities over projects being implemented by China in Pakistan.
The delegation includes Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif, Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatmi and Secretary Water and Power Nargis Sethi.
The delegation will also hold discussions about starting work on the Pak-China Economic Corridor, energy projects, Quaid-e-Azam Apparel Park in Lahore and cooperation in textile field.
The delegation will also hold a meeting with Chinese Commission for Development and Reforms.
Pakistan’s Ambassador in China Masood Khalid says that Chinese President is interested in reviving old silk route which links Pakistan with China and will play a vital role in trade and economic activities in the region.
