Govt provides cash amount to over 27,000 IDP families: Kamal
Member National Disaster Management Authority says special focus is being given on providing shelter and drinking water.
Member National Disaster Management Authority Ahmed Kamal has said IDPs is a national issue and all institutions are playing their role in this regard.
Speaking in a Radio Pakistan's programme, he said special focus is being given on providing shelter and drinking water.
He said the government has provided cash amount to over twenty seven thousand families.
He said besides provincial governments of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab and the Army, the United Arab Emirates and UNHCR have also provided assistance to the IDPs.
