Cheques worth Rs 40 mln handed over to people in Ghizer
Over 700, who provided land to Govt for constructions have been received their long pending compensation.
District Administration Ghizer has handed over cheques worth forty million rupees to the people against land compensation.
Talking to our Gilgit correspondent today Deputy Commissioner, Ghizer Rai Manzoor Hussain said over seven hundred people who provided land to the Government for constructions have been received their long pending compensation.
He said an amount of fifteen million rupees would be distributed as land compensation to the remaining affectees during the current month.
He said that first time electricity has been provided to 800 populated Gum Sing, a hilly and remote village in Ghizer.
