Balochistan Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch has said that government would take concrete steps for the provision of better education, health facilities and to improve the living standard of people in the province.

Talking to the World Bank’s delegation headed by its Country Director in Pakistan Rasheed-bin-Masood who called on him in Quetta, he said eighty per-cent employments of people depend on agriculture and the underground level of water has also been depleted alarmingly in vast area of the province.

He asked World Bank to extend cooperation in the process of capacity building of local bodies’ institutions to Balochistan government.

Speaking on this occasion, the World Bank’s Country Director in Pakistan Rasheed-bin-Masood said Balochistan government make projects for the improvement of Irrigation, Girls Education, Agriculture and livestock sectors and World Bank will provide funds on priority basis for these projects.
