Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal says time has come to transform Pak-China relations into economic closeness and give big boost to the economic growth in the region.

Addressing a news conference in Islamabad on Friday [February 6], he said the Pak-China Economic Corridor is on the cards and no change has been made in the rout of this corridor. He said China will make an investment of about forty-five billion dollars for the development of this corridor.

Ahsan Iqbal said that despite difficult circumstances the Ministry of Petroleum has managed to complete LNG terminal by the end of next month.

He said the government is working for the prosperity and development of Balochistan on priority basis.

To a question, Ahsan Iqbal said that Pak-Afghan strategic relationships are strengthening day by day.
