Sindh Chief Minister asks secretaries to ensure transparent use of funds.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah chaired a meeting of all provincial secretaries in Karachi on Wednesday.
Addressing the meeting, the Chief Minister asked the secretaries to ensure transparent use of the funds that have been released for the development projects.
He said 143 billion rupees have been earmarked for the development programme during the current financial year and the first installment of 25 billion rupees of these funds has been released out of these.
He further asked to ensure the completion of 418 development projects by the end of current financial year.
The Chief Minister sought the details of the vacancies in every department and asked to submit a report in this regard within three days.
He also asked all the secretaries to complete the departmental promotion process in their respective departments at the earliest.
Syed Qaim Ali Shah further asked to expedite the pace on the disposal of cases that courts are hearing of various departments.
