Pak-China accords to fortify bilateral ties: Fatemi
Tariq Fatemi says the bilateral projects will generate employment and bring peace and stability in the region.
Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi has said that far-reaching agreements have been finalised by Pakistan and China to enhance and fortify existing relations between the two countries.
He was speaking at the concluding session of the two-day Seminar on Building China-Pakistan Community of Shared Destiny in the New Era, jointly organised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Islamabad. The Seminar was attended by prominent scholars and researchers from China and Pakistan.
The Special Assistant said the projects under bilateral agreements will generate more employment opportunities as well as economic activities to bring peace, stability and prosperity to the region.
Head of the Chinese delegation of scholars and former Ambassador Zhou Gang said that, “Our experience of friendship with Pakistan has strengthened our conviction that Pakistan-China friendship is rock-firm and full of vitality.”
He remarked that China was happy to see Pakistan playing an important and constructive role in regional and international affairs.
