Hot, humid conditions likely to continue
Weak monsoon currents are penetrating northeastern parts of country, Kashmir.
The Met Office has forecast mainly hot and humid weather in most parts of the country during the next twelve hours.
However, rain with thundershower is expected at isolated places of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore, Hazara, Mirpur Khas, Karachi divisions, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Wednesday morning was:
Islamabad 27 degree centigrade, Lahore 29, Karachi 28, Quetta 21, Gilgit 17, Murree 19 and Muzaffarabad 24 degree centigrade.
According to the synoptic situation, a well-marked seasonal low lies over Baluchistan and its adjoining areas with its trough extending northeastward. Weak monsoon currents are penetrating northeastern parts of the country and Kashmir.
