Pakistan and Britain have agreed to work together to strengthen and improve of mutual cooperation between the two countries.
This agreement was reached at a meeting between Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain and FCO Minister for Human Rights and the UN of UK Lord Tariq Ahmed in London today.
Briefing about the social and economic reforms agenda of the PTI led government, Chaudhary Fawad Hussain said rule of law is the top priority of the government. He said that extremism is an international challenge and collective efforts are needed to combat it globally.
The Information Minister emphasized the need of cooperation between the two countries to prevent money laundering. He also suggested establishment of an international regularity system against hatred contents on social media.
The FCO minister appreciated the proposal and assured full support from UK's government. He said that British Prime Minister acknowledges the positive progress in Pakistan.
