In India, President of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen Asaduddin Owaisi has said that the Babri Masjid incident will not be erased from Ayodhya's legacy.

In a tweet with the hashtag Babri Zinda Hai, he said "Babri Masjid thi, hai, aur rahegi".

On another occasion, he said Narendra Modi has violated the oath of the office by laying the foundation stone of Ram temple.
