Minister of Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain says government is taking all possible measures to ensure a safe and healthy life of the people.

Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel, he said, people not following guidelines on Covid-19 has become a global concern.

Taking part in the program Minister of State for Climate Change Zartaj Gul said prevention is always better than cure and it is necessary to check increasing number of corona cases.

Talking about the locust problem in the country Minister for National Food Security and Research Syed Fakhar Imam said swarms of locusts have invaded agriculture fields in the country decimating crops and risking famine. He said China is also supporting Pakistan to improve its pest control system to overcome the locust plague.
