The coronavirus which has reached almost every corner of the planet has confined nearly half of humanity to their homes and has claimed more than 70,000 victims.

The coronavirus has now threatened Americans with their hardest week and in London, virus-stricken Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been shifted to a hospital for tests. Queen Elizabeth II delivered a rare emergency address to urge Britons to remain united and resolute in face of COVID-19.

On the other hand Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said hospitals face a critical situation and an emergency could be declared soon.
