Pakistan has said that it is concerned about the threat posed by terrorism and extremism to South Asian region.  In response to a question regarding the BRICS' Leaders' summits document, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Nafees Zakaria said many terrorist groups based in the region, including in Afghanistan, such as the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and its associates like Jamaat-ul-Ansar had been responsible for extreme acts of violence against Pakistan.

About 125,000 Rohingya Muslims fled western Myanmar since 25th of August due to ongoing violence against them: UNHCR

The United Nations High Commission for Refugees says around 125,000 Rohingya Muslim refugees have arrived in Bangladesh after fleeing from violence in Myanmar. UNHCR spokeswoman Vivian Tan in a statement said Tuesday that the number of fleeing Rohingya Muslims is going up very quickly.
