Sindh govt to promote girls education
Several schemes are being carried out for this purpose.
In Sindh, special attention is being given to promote girls’ education and several schemes are being carried out for this purpose for which an amount of ten point seven billion rupees have been earmarked in current budget of the province.
The sources of the Education Department told our Karachi representative that the schemes include construction and up-gradation of schools and colleges across the province while two cadet colleges excessively for girls will be established at Shaheed Benazirabad and Garhi Khuda Bux Bhutto.
The schemes also include construction of Women University at Sukkur and Bibi Asifa Institute of Electronic and Vocational Training in Lyari area of Karachi.
Meanwhile, another important scheme of constructing ten public schools in Umerkot, Sanghar, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Ghotki, Qamber Shahdadkot, Gadap, Dadu and Jacobabad districts is also being carried out.
