Pakistan ready to extend all possible cooperation to Maldives in education sector
Minister of State for Education and Professional Training Baligh-ur-Rehman says Pakistan is ready to extend all possible cooperation to Maldives for promotion of education.
He was talking to Deputy Education Minister of Maldives Azleen Ahmed in Islamabad on Thursday.
Deputy Education Minister of Maldives sought Pakistan's assistance in medicine and engineering fields.
He said a Maldives National University and COMSATS have signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for joint education and research collaboration.
Meanwhile, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, Baligh-ur-Rehman has said all out efforts are being made to achieve the Sustainable Development Goal relating to quality education.
He was addressing the closing session of two-day workshop on provincial consultation on the SDG-4 in Islamabad on Thursday.
The Minister said the government has converted the quality education goal into national development agenda.
He said almost more than twenty-five percent of total budget is being allocated for the education.
