Pakistan and China have agreed to establish a media forum to promote bilateral relations in diverse fields.

The agreement came during a meeting between Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Sun Weidong and Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid in Islamabad on Monday.

The two sides reiterated to make bilateral media exchange programme more effective.

They said media can play a vital role in passing on Pak-China friendship to the next generations.    

Speaking on the occasion, Pervaiz Rashid said Pakistan Government attaches top priority to  protection of Chinese engineers working in Pakistan.
