Japan appreciates sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in war on terror
Japanese Ambassador called on Army Chief in Rawalpindi on Monday.
Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Takashi Kurai called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Monday.
They discussed regional situation and matters of mutual interests.
In his remarks, the Army Chief expressed the hope that Japan will continue to play a positive role for peace and stability in the region.
The Japanese envoy appreciated the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in the war on terror. He said his country wants to strengthen relations with Pakistan in all spheres.
Meanwhile, Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited CMH Rawalpindi today and inquired after the health of Pakistani climber Abdul Jabbar Bhatti who had recently surmounted the Mount Everest.
He congratulated him on his successful climb to the world highest mountain.
