Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel, Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria says the upcoming SCO Summit will provide Pakistan with a forum to effectively implement the agenda of regional connectivity being pursued by the government. The Summit is an opportunity for regional countries to further their bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Nafees Zakaria says Pakistan looks forward to strengthening its bilateral and multilateral ties with all member countries of SCO. It was the first observer state to apply for full membership in the year 2010.

World Environment Day 2017: PM Nawaz Sharif says his country mindful of environmental responsibilities and ensures industrial, infrastructural and associated developmental initiatives environment-friendly

In his message on the World Environment Day, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif says Pakistan is mindful of its responsibilities towards protection of environment. We have made environmental impact studies a mandatory part of all development projects, irrespective of their size. We have also recently launched the Green Pakistan Programme across the country in collaboration with provincial and regional governments, the civil society and our international development partners.

Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb felicitates Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif over completion of four years of his government. In her felicitation message, she said that the Nawaz Sharif has the honor of being third time elected Prime Minister of the country. The Prime Minster took pragmatic measures to deal with confronting challenges. Historic census process was completed after nineteen years in the country under visionary leadership of  Nawaz Sharif. Japan Appreciates Sacrifices Rendered By Pakistan In War On Terror

Japanese Ambassador to Pakistan Takashi Kurai called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa in Rawalpindi on Monday. They discussed regional situation and matters of mutual interests. In his remarks, the Army Chief expressed the hope that Japan will continue to play a positive role for peace and stability in the region. The Japanese envoy appreciated the sacrifices rendered by Pakistan in the war on terror. He said his country wants to strengthen relations with Pakistan in all spheres.

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Yemen and Bahrain sever ties to Qatar over 'terrorism- Pakistan has no plans to cut diplomatic ties with Qatar: FO

Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates and Yemen have cut diplomatic ties with Qatar, accusing it of destabilizing the region. The coordinated move dramatically escalates a dispute over Qatar's support of the Muslim Brotherhood, the world's oldest Islamist movement, and adds accusations that Doha even backs the agenda of regional arch-rival Iran. Announcing the closure of transport ties with Qatar, the three Gulf States gave Qatari visitors and residents two weeks to leave their countries.
