Met Office predicts more rains
A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country.
Rain-thundershowers with isolated heavy falls and gusty winds are expected at scattered places of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Faisalabad, Gujranwala, Lahore, Upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Malakand, Hazara, Mardan, Peshawar, Kohat divisions, FATA, Upper Punjab, Gilgit-Baltistan and Kashmir during the next twelve hours.
However, rain-thundershowers is also expected at a few places of Sahiwal and Bahawalpur divisions. Hot and humid weather is expected elsewhere in the country.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Wednesday morning was:-
Islamabad and Gilgit twenty-three degree centigrade, Lahore twenty-six, Karachi thirty, Peshawar twenty-seven, Quetta twenty-two, Murree eighteen and Muzaffarabad twenty-one degree centigrade.
According to synoptic situation, moderate monsoon currents are penetrating upper and eastern parts of the country. A shallow westerly wave is affecting upper parts of the country and likely to persist during next 24 hours.
