In occupied Kashmir, Indian police has decided to arrest Hurriyat leaders, activists and youth to prevent anti-India protests during the week-long programmes in connection with the martyrdom anniversary of Burhan Wani.
The week-long protest calendar was issued by the Joint Resistance Leadership earlier today, Hurriyat leaders Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik also announced complete strike on Saturday and next Thursday to pay tributes to Burhan Wani and other martyrs.
Burhan Wani was martyred last year on 8th July by Indian forces in a fake encounter which triggered massive uprising in the territory.
