Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that the PML (N) Government is taking serious and sincere measures to tackle the energy crisis issue.

He was chairing a high level meeting in Lahore on Thursday, in which the various energy sector projects and the LNG Power Park project were reviewed.

He said that government is taking various measures to generate energy through conventional as well as alternative resources.

The Chief Minister said the one hundred megawatts solar project at Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park, Bahawalpur is in its final phase. He said work is also in progress on generating power through LNG in province.
