River Indus in very high flood at Guddu, Sukkur
River Kabul is in medium flood at Nowshera
River Indus is in very high flood at Guddu and Sukkur while high at Taunsa and Chashma and medium at Kalabagh, Kotri and Tarbela.
Flood Forecasting Division of Met. Department in Lahore told Radio Pakistan that River Kabul is in medium flood at Nowshera.
All other rivers and nullahs are flowing normally at present.
Meanwhile, high flood of around six lakh cusecs is passing through River Indus at Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan and Muzaffargarh districts today.
The discharge at Taunsa barrage this morning has risen to five lakh 97 thousand cusecs with high flood.
According to a spokesman of the irrigation department, the riverine areas of Layyah, Dera Ghazi Khan, Muzaffargarh and Rajanpur will face high flood situation during coming two to three days.
Our Multan representative reports that over 233 villages of these four districts have been affected with the flood while main River embankments are safe.
