Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif says federal government would provide support to Sindh in providing maximum relief to flood-affected people of the province.

Addressing a gathering of flood-affected people in Ghotki, he announced one billion rupees as assistance to Sindh government to carry out relief work in flood-hit areas.

He said the government would leave no stone unturned to provide relief to people affected by floods.

The Prime Minister said besides tents and food, solar panels have been distributed among the affected people.

He told the affected people that it is the duty of the government to facilitate them in difficult times.

Nawaz Sharif appreciated the provincial government for taking steps to provide relief to the flood-affectees.

The Prime Minister also distributed relief goods among the affected families.
