Pak-UK agree to boost bilateral ties

The Prime Minister congratulated the British Secretary on winning new elections by the conservatives and asked him to communicate the same to British Prime Minister.
Both sides agreed on cooperation between the two countries under the Enhanced Strategic Dialogue.
The British Secretary of Defence underlined the importance of bilateral relations with Pakistan. This relationship continues to deepen in the interest of both the nations.
He appreciated the role of Pakistani Diaspora in Britain.
British Secretary of State for Defense Michael Fallon also called on Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan in Islamabad.
They exchanged views on Pakistan-Britain relations, bilateral cooperation under enhanced strategic dialogue, war on terror, increasing cooperation in security sector, and other important matters.
Ongoing reconciliation process in Afghanistan and overall security situation in the region also came under discussion.
Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan stressed the need for further enhancing bilateral cooperation for early completion of the agreed upon security roadmap between Pakistan and the United Kingdom.
The British Defence Secretary lauded the sacrifices rendered by the people of Pakistan, the armed forces, and the law enforcement agencies in war on terror.
