Kuch Khaas, Centre for Arts , Culture and Dialogue will hold week long Pakistan themed activities in Islamabad from August 8 to mark the forthcoming Independence Day of Pakistan.

The events will start with a day-long activity "Pakistan My Country, My Home" celebrating Pakistan's Independence Day with children from 8 to 12 years of age.

The joyful event for children will focus on commemoration of Independence Day, followed by games, art and craft activities.

On August 8, Desi Karaoke Night will bring traditional tunes and melodies by the participants for Islooites. The fun lovers will be given big stage to show their talent of singing.

Barrio Fiesta, Filipino Culture and Food festival will be held on August 9 for families featuring a variety of famous delicacies from across the Philippines, special arts and crafts made in and or flown from the Philippines, and an assortment of cultural dances, talent shows and traditional games.

On August 13, "Independence Day, Night Market" will setup the Arts and Crafts stalls with the theme of Independence Day to celebrate the day through display of regional crafts.
