A special ceremony to launch the patrolling ship of Pakistan Maritime Security Agency (PMSA) was held in Karachi on Tuesday.

Addressing the ceremony, the Naval Chief Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi said that the ship is the symbol of long term friendship of Pakistan and China and has been built in the Karachi Shipyard with the cooperation of China.

While congratulating the Karachi Shipyard for achieving this target, he said the shipyard has made much progress in a short time and has become a profitable organization besides making headway for self dependence in defense production.

The Naval said that enhancement in the security agency’s capabilities in line with latest trends is inevitable as Pakistan will become an economic hub of the region with CPEC.
