June 05, 2020

Ali Muhammad Khan (Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs):

The provincial government of KP has issued Sehat Insaf card on the directions of Prime Minister Imran Khan. Police reforms were introduced in order to facilitate the people of the province. Moreover, the staff of government institutes and hospitals has been directed to adopt positive attitude towards people. Special Assistant to PM Dr. Zafar Mirza and the ministers of KP and Punjab provinces are closely monitoring the measures for corona virus. On the clear direction of Prime Minister Imran Khan certain reforms are also introduced in tribal areas and tribal are facilitated through all possible resources.

Zartaj Gul (Minister of State for Climate Change):

Prime Minister Imran Khan, since the outbreak of COVID-19, is taking the nation on board in every decision and requesting the nation to adopt preventive measures in order to avoid from this pandemic. Pakistan cannot afford the lockdown policy for a long time. Even the developed countries cannot afford strict lockdown for long. According to WHO, over 250 million people may die due to hunger in case of lockdown. Asian Development Bank issued a report in which the strategy of Pakistan to control spread of COVID-19 is declared best in South Asian region. Another challenge that Pakistan is facing at the time is Locust outbreak in different areas of the country.  Every province has to play its part to deal with this specific challenge. The federal government is determined to compensate the loss to the farmers as a result of locust attack and damaging the crops.

Dr. Muhammad Mukhtar (VC, National Skill University):

We, as a nation, are responsible for spread of COVID-19 in the country as we are not following the SOPs. Media played its role in creating awareness among people and everyone knows the mode of transmission of this pandemic. The preventive measures are very simple. Wearing masks, washing hands regularly and maintaining social distancing are the tools for preventing from this fatal pandemic. Every country in the world is being affected by COVID-19. Even it is a failure of WHO that cannot sense the sensitivity of this virus. People should not panic and only follow the guidelines issued by the government and the health experts. If someone has symptoms of Coronavirus, he/she must be quarantined.

“International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression”

Abdullah Gul (Defense Analyst):

We must pray for the Kashmiri children who laid their lives for freedom from illegal Indian occupation. There is lot of child abuse and trafficking across the world. The children are future of any nation and the culprits playing with their future must be dealt with iron hands. We have to pay attention to provide quality education and other facilities to make our children as the nation's asset. Indian forces are brutally killing the Kashmiris and openly using pellet guns against Kashmiri children to make them blind. The Muslim countries must force Indian to provide the Kashmiris their basic rights.

Syed Yousaf Naseem (Hurriyet Leader):

In IOJ&K, it is unfortunate that international world and human rights organizations are not taking serious notice of human rights abuses in Occupied Kashmir. Every day, parents are losing their children as result of Indian atrocities. For the last 300 days, the lockdown imposed by Indian government has negative impacts in Occupied Kashmir. The Indian forces are using pallet guns against innocent Kashmiris. We must appreciate the courage of Kashmiri nation that is determined to get their fundamental right despite of worst Indian brutalities. India is committing state terrorism and genocide in the valley. Moreover, Kashmiris youth is the main target of Indian forces. They are being arrested and tortured even to death. Kashmiris will never compromise on their struggle for freedom.
