Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique says peace in the region will remain elusive until the resolution of the Kashmir dispute.

He was addressing a rally to mark the Kashmir Solidarity Day at the Charring Cross on Mall Road in Lahore on Monday.

He said that today we demand that India must act wisely and vacate the Kashmir valley which is under its illegal occupation.

Saad Rafique said we all will have to set aside our political differences and give India a strong message that it cannot keep people of Kashmir deprived of their fundamental right of freedom for a long time.
