Airstrikes leave over 100 PKK militants dead or wounded in Turkey
In Turkey, more than a hundred militants from outlawed Kurdistan Workers Party have been either killed or wounded airstrikes in southeast and east of the country.
According to State-run Anadolu news agency, fighter jets pounded ten PKK targets in Hakkari, Agri and Van provinces.
Turkey’s southeast has been rocked by waves of violence following the collapse last year of a ceasefire between the state and the PKK.
The PKK is considered a terrorist organization by Turkey, the United States and the European Union.
