In Lahore suffered four billion rupees loss in the daily business. City District Government of Rawalpindi has incurred an amount of five million rupees on the security arrangements. Suspension of metro service in Rawalpindi Islamabad suffered one million rupees loss.Billions of rupees have been incurred on the police deployment on both the places. Addressing an inaugural ceremony of 40-megawatt coal-based power plant in Faisalabad on saturday, he said that government is striving to bring improvement in the living standards of the people.The government is heavily investing in energy sector to rid the country of energy deficit by 2018. The 40 MW Coal Power Plants at Sitara Chemical Industries Ltd Faisalabad is the largest of its kind in the industrial sector of the city.

Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif performed the ground breaking of Lahore Eastern bypass at Kala-Shah Kaku on Friday.      (02-09-2016)

Chairman National Highway Authority briefed the Prime Minister about the salient features of the project.·         The 16.5 kilometer long bypass will be completed at a cost 28 billion rupees.    Situated in the east of Lahore, this bypass will connect with Lahore Ring Road at a distance of 3.3 kilometer from Niazi interchange. This bypass will start from Mehmood Booti interchange and end at GT Road and Lahore-Islamabad Motorway junction at Kala-Shah Kaku interchange.

The Prime Minister laid foundation stones and inaugurate some important projects related to China Pakistan Economic Corridor in Gwadar (01-09-2016)   Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif unveiled five developmental projects at Gwadar in Balochistan .These are

1.      Free Trade Zone,

2.      Business Complex of Gwadar Port Authority,

3.      Pak-China Government Primary School Faqir Colony,

4.      Sawar and Shadikor dams

5.      Gwadar University.

 Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said that China-Pakistan Economic Corridor is the most important economic initiative for South Asia in the 21st century. He was inaugurating CPEC Summit at Pak-China Friendship Centre in Islamabad on Monday. Prime Minister said by working together we can bring peace and stability in the region through economic development for our people.The 46 billion dollars China Pakistan Economic Corridor project is a new chapter in Pak-China relations aimed at transforming political relations into a strategic economic relationship.

He was speaking at the opening ceremony of two day G20 summit that began in Chinese city of Hangzhou on Sunday.

The theme of the summit is 'Toward an Innovative, Invigorated, Interconnected and Inclusive World Economy.Today China's President Xi Jinping says the global economy is at a critical juncture with the threat of rising protectionism. Xi Jinping said some of the bigger risks to the global economy are sluggish demand, financial market volatility and feeble trade and investment. Chinese President Xi Jinping has said that world leaders should avoid hollow negotiations.He said that meaningful negotiation is essential for economic development. It is worth mentioning that China is hosting the G-20 summit. 

Turkey calls on US to adopt collective approach against terrorism

He was talking to US president Barack Obama in Hangzhou on the sidelines of G-20 summit.Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has said U.S and Turkey must adopt a common attitude against terrorism. Erdogan said there should be no distinction between "good terrorists" and bad ones.On the occasion, US President assured Recep Tayyip Erdogan that his country will work to ensure those responsible for a failed coup are brought to justice
