Chairman Baba Guru Nanak Jee Welfare Society Pakistan Sardar Bishan Singh says Pakistan has shown a peace gesture by opening Kartarpur Corridor and it is unfortunate that Indian regime is not taking it positively.
Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel, he said Indian government and some extremist elements from India are trying to create hurdles in opening of the corridor.
Sardar Bishan Singh said Kartarpur Corridor will be opened on 9th of next month which is a source of pleasure for the entire Sikh community and Sikhs from across the globe will arrive Pakistan on the 550th birth anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak.
He said Kartarpur Corridor is synonym to "peace" and "brotherhood".
He said we are inviting Sikhs from all over the world to attend opening ceremony of the corridor being held on 9th of the next month to make the day a memorable and historic one.
Sardar Bishan Singh said Kartarpur opening is a gift to Sikh Community and Ex-Prime Minister of India Manmohan Singh is also invited in the grand ceremony.
He said Pakistan government has directed its embassies throughout the world to facilitate Sikh pilgrims.
He said Modi Sarkar is perpetrating brutalities in Kashmir and Punjab.
Sardar Bishan Singh expressed satisfaction that all the government institutions are well prepared to facilitate the visiting Sikh pilgrims.
