Deputy Commissioner Diamer Dildar Ahmed Malik says Naran Kaghan to Babusar road would be opened for traffic within the next couple of days.

This he said in an interview with our Gilgit correspondent Sher Muhammad on Monday.

He said two kilometer area from Khun to Babusar top in Diamer is risky where avalanche can hit the road.

He said Diamer administration has stopped traffic as precautionary measure to avoid any mishap.

Our correspondent reports that a large number of passengers preferring travel on Naran-Babusar road to enjoy scenic beauty of Naran Kaghan and Babusar every year.

The Naran-Babusar road closed for traffic due to snowfall in November and opened in June every year.
