Four matches of next PSL to be palyed in Karachi while six in Lahore

In an interview, Chairman PCB Najam Sethi says the World is satisfied with the situation of security in the country and a top level security company is observing the matters in this regard. Seventh team would be included in the PSL after two years and it could be from FATA, Sialkot or Faisalabad. FATA has the talent to participate in the next PSL and PCB would sign the MoU with Khyber Pakhtunkhawa for the establishing Cricket academy in Peshawar. Meanwhile, negotiations are underway for the cricket series between Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka.

5th ODI between India, Sri Lanka on Sunday

The fifth and last One Day International between India and Sri Lanka will be played in Colombo on Sunday. India lead the series by 4-nil. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka has failed to seal a direct qualification place in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 in the ongoing ODI series against India after failing to win two matches.

Pakistan to host three international tennis events this year

Pakistan would be hosting three international tennis tournaments this year with each having a cash prize of $15,000.  According to Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) Secretary Sanaullah Aman, the three tournaments would be held in November and December.  Foreign players would be seen in action in these events while International Tennis Federation (ITF) officials would also be visiting here.

Sangsom 6 Red World Snooker Championship to be held in Bangkok, Thailand on 4 September

Pakistan Snooker team is participating in the Sangsom 6 Red World Snooker Championship scheduled to be held at Bangkok, Thailand from 4 September.  The event will conclude on 9 September.
