An inter-provincial meeting has developed a roadmap to minimize the gender wage-gap from thirty-six percent to ten percent in next three years in favour of women workers.  

The meeting of Treaty Implementation Cell was held in Islamabad with its Convener and Attorney General of Pakistan Ashtar Ausaf Ali in the chair.    

The meeting also developed a mechanism to benefit from the best practices being followed by the provinces to introduce new legislation and implement administrative steps with regard to human, women, child and labour rights, anti-corruption drives, narcotics and environmental protection.   

Senior officials of the federal and all relevant provincial departments, including Azad Jammu Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and representative from International Labour Organization and Pakistan Workers Federation attended the meeting .
