Meanwhile, since the martyrdom of Burhan Wani Indian forces and Police have resorted to violent action against innocent Kashmiris during peaceful protests across the valley.

In a letter to US secretary of State John Kerry non-resident Kashmiris have said that Indian forces used bullets, birdshot from pump-action shotguns and extreme cane beatings against some 200,000 mourners who attended Wani's funeral.

They said curfews and clashes have now been sustained for over five weeks, with limited or no access to the basic necessities of life, including food, power and fuel.

During the unabated attacks injuries have reached close to 10,000 while deaths over 85, and some 570 left blinded by pellet guns.
