In Afghanistan , six Taliban militants have been killed in clashes with government forces in Logar and Khost provinces.
According to reports, three militants have been killed in retaliatory firing when they attacked a security forces' post at Qala-I-Naw area in Logar province. A women and two children have also been killed when a mortar shell fell on a house during the clash.
Three militants have been killed and two others wounded in a bomb explosion in Khost province.
