Modules of social uplift of BISP being lauded at int’l level: Marvi
Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) Marvi Memon has said that modules of social uplift of BISP are being lauded at international level.
In a statement, she said BISP, being one of the top five social safety nets has launched the pilot phase of resurvey which will be completed by March next year.
She said under Waseela-e-Taleem, BISP has enrolled 1.3 million children in schools and targets to enroll 2 million children by December this year.
Marvi Memon said BISP is shifting its electronic payment mechanisms to biometric verification system and targets to complete this conversion countrywide by December this year.
