APHC leaders condemn ban on Muharram procession in Occupied Kashmir
The leaders term action as interference in religious affairs of Muslims.
In occupied Kashmir , the Chairman of All Parties Hurriyet Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, and other Hurriyet leaders have condemned the imposition of continued ban on Muharram processions in the territory.
Mirwaiz Umar Farooq, Agha Syed Hassan Al-Moosvi Al-Safvi, Javaid Ahmed Mir and Farida Behenji in their statements in Srinagar termed the action as interference in religious affairs of the Muslims.
Several people were injured when Indian police and troops used brute force on Muharram processions in different areas of Srinagar.
