The Young Doctors Association (YDA) of three major hospitals of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has ended their strike after holding successful talks with the provincial government.

According to a spokesman of the Young Doctors Association, the government has assured to redress the reservations of the doctors including non-political interference in the running affairs of the hospitals.

Meanwhile, the government has announced a relief package of three million rupees for the families of the doctors who lost their lives during duty hours.
