Government is fully committed to overcome the energy Crisis - Minister for Water and Power says power generation in the country has reached its highest level of 18904 megawatt.

PM directs for smooth  provision of electricity

Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif says power generation in the country has reached its heighest level of 18904 megawatt.In a tweet message he said hydel generation is 6033 MW, GENCOs 3078 MW and IPPs are producing 9793 MW power.The Minister said that the government will deliver as per its promises and load shedding will be eliminated shortly.He said substantial increase in power generation has vindicated that the system is improving continuously.Short fall on Saturday morning is 2058.

Topic : Punjab government allocates  a record six hundred and thirty five billion rupees for annual development programme during the next fiscal year- Total outlay   is 1970 billion rupees 

A tax-free people-friendly Punjab budget for next fiscal year with a total outlay of over 1970 billion rupees has been presented.Punjab Finance Minister Dr Ayesha Ghaus Pasha while presenting the budget in the Provincial Assembly said Punjab is expecting an income of eleven hundred fifty four billion rupees from the federal government, and there is an estimate of provincial revenue of three hundred and forty-eight billion rupees.A record six hundred and thirty five billion rupees with an increase of twenty-nine point five percent have been proposed for annual development programme.Fifty-nine percent of total budget has been allocated for education, health, agriculture, law and order and local governments and one thousand seventeen billion rupees have been allocated for these sectors.Ten percent raise in the salaries of the provincial government employees and pensions.
The minimum monthly wages of laborers and industrial workers will now be fifteen thousand rupees.
