The Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry has termed Punjab budget for the next fiscal year relief-oriented for people.
In a statement, LCCI President Abdul Basit said allocation of hefty amounts for energy and agriculture is a good omen.
He said elimination of double taxation, broadening the tax net and cut in discretionary powers of the tax collection machinery is the right step of the Punjab government.
Abdul Basit said allocation of huge funds for maintenance of law and order in the province is a proof that the provincial government is serious to improve law and order situation.
