IT exports increased almost by 100 percent over last four years
Currently IT exports of Pakistan stand at $2.9bn as against $1.4bn recorded in 2013.
Information Technology related exports have increased almost by one hundred percent over the last four years.
According to officials, currently the IT exports of Pakistan stand at 2.9 billion dollars as against the 1.4 billion dollars recorded in 2013.
The officials said Pakistan Software Export Board is aiming to cross six billion dollars mark in IT exports in the next couple of years. The target will be achieved by registering new companies and by creating new opportunities for entrepreneurs to develop new products and services for export purposes.
They said a software technology park is also being established in the federal capital with the cooperation of Korean Exim bank in order to fully exploit the potential of the sector.
