Certain elements are involved in giving the impression that there is confrontation existing between state institutions for their political interests. PML-N has sacrificed a lot for strengthening the democratic system in Pakistan. It was the personal efforts of Mian Nawaz Sharif that PPP government was forced to retain the judges. Some elements have been involved in conspiracies against the government. The opposition parties are exaggerating the prevailing situation and trying to create confusions between the government and judiciary. The government’s response to the remarks of an honorable judge should not be linked with confrontation.
Isphanyar Bhindara (Leader, PML-N)
Some immature politicians want to create misunderstandings between the government and other state institutions by hook or by crook. Interior minister rightly said that there is no confrontation between the government and Judges. Hussain Nawaz and Hassan Nawaz have attended the JIT proceedings and were interrogated for even seven hours which is a clear indication that the government respects state organizations. The government has also condemned the remarks of Nihal Hashmi in his address to public meeting even though his remarks were in his personal capacity. There could be differences in opinions but there should be no exaggeration on it.
