Sindh Assembly on Monday adopted a bill to repeal the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Ordinance 1999 with majority.

The bill was presented by Provincial Law Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar.

Opposition members raising objection on the bill protested in the House and walked out from the House.

Presenting the bill, Provincial Minister said efforts against corruption are provincial prerogative that is why NAB ordinance is being replaced with an effective anti corruption law.
