Pakistan urges world powers to help resolve Kashmir, Palestine issues
Dr. Maleeha Lodhi says big powers are obstacles in way of peaceful solution of these issues.
Pakistan's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr. Maleeha Lodhi has urged the major powers to help resolve Kashmir and Palestine issues.
In an interview to the London-based Alquds Alarabi Newspaper, she said big powers are obstacles in the way of peaceful solution of these issues, which are reflective of deteriorating situation in the region.
She said in Indian occupied Kashmir, the human rights violations are unprecedented in scope and intensity and these atrocities have been condemned by international media.
On Palestine issue, the Security Council has continuously endorsed a two-state solution.
